Relaxation with Massage - Page 2

If the relaxation has not spread from your slippery mind into your body, please continue opening and closing of your eyes in a nice natural rhythm until you have the relaxation all the way down to your feet.  There is no need to count, just the breathing and eyes. Continue doing this, and when you have it in your entire body you can carry on reading.

Excellent, and it feels good being nicely relaxed.  Since you are very relaxed, feel how relaxed your legs are.  Being this relaxed and  focused and aware of things? So you know that if you keep the relaxation in your left leg, like it is right now you won't be able to lift it, right? So try it and notice that after trying for a couple of seconds, you just cannot lift it. When you stop trying to lift it, you will relax even more, and you can carry on reading.

Now I would like you to take the next step. With your eyes open I would like you to start counting down from 100, if possible out loud, and with every decreasing number the numbers become smaller and less important and more distant. At some point you may skip a number, and when you allow them to grow smaller and less important then they will disappear completely. Don't try to hang on to them, just allow them to disappear. You will notice you may say them quieter and quieter the more distant they become. Just take your time, and when the numbers are gone you can continue reading.
